“Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
Acts 8:30-31
Each person has a different upbringing, background, and understanding about God, the Bible, or their spiritual life. Often times, churches don’t have the resources or the time to dedicate and focus on each member of their congregation. Faith in God is not “one-size fit all,” but personal and individual. That is why individual Bible study is the first and best way to build one’s relationship with God.
At the Church of God, we make sure that every member can find the space to be comfortable to ask questions without judgment. We welcome the chance to answer any questions about the Bible. Learning is a two-way street and interactive. So, only in a safe space can learning be successful and effective. Bible studies at the Church of God are on your time, at your pace, with structure and direction. And best of all, it's free.
