Family

“They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven.”

Hebrew 8:5

As things on this earth are a copy and shadow of what is in heaven, God made the family system on earth as a replica of what is in heaven. Physical families develop our understanding of the spiritual family. Since we believe in the true heavenly family system, family is the core of the Church of God. The growth and development of family love is a priority, with educations for both parents and their children.

Therefore, the core of why families exist is to help us understand our heavenly family. In the Church of God, understanding the deep connection and roles of a family allow for a happy home and perfect harmony between each other. Husbands and wives learn to respect and love each other. Brothers and sisters learn to support and protect each other. The members tap into the hidden spiritual principles of the heavenly family which allows the physical system to be strong and powerful.

Families that worship together at the Church of God learn to love one another and learn to share the scriptures—the words of God—together. They help build each other up and support each others’ faith. Children learn to truly honor their Father and Mother while parents learn the definition of unconditional love for their children. The Church of God hopes that every family can embody an example for other families in the world while sharing their love of the truth.
