God’s image can be observed by examining the components of a physical family. God exists as God the Father and as God the Mother. This is why in the physical family there is a father, mother, and children. Take a look at the verse that testifies about God the Mother.
God Taught Us the Image of God Through the Copy
How do parents teach their young children important life lessons? Children are required to learn essential lessons such as driving, cooking, or certain career paths. However, do parents place their children behind the wheel of an actual vehicle or let them operate a towering airplane to teach them? Although it might be plausible, the most effective way for a small child to begin learning is simply by showing them a representative model.
Then, what about God Elohim who are our heavenly parents? How do they educate us about the angelic world where we will go soon? Of course, we can form our own ideas about this matter, but is there not more concrete evidence that testifies about the kingdom of heaven? In fact, there is! As God created all things by His will, the evidence is contained in God’s creation. As it written in the following verses:
Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
The unseen qualities of God, such as his mighty power and angelic form, are seen through God’s creation. Then, can we really say that we do not know God? God’s image can be observed through the world around us. As found in nature, there are the male and female images throughout all creatures made by God(the fishes that swim in the ocean, the birds that fly in the air, and the animals that crawl on the ground). Most notably, humans are made to resemble the image of God. Therefore, God must exist as a male image and as the female image, although they are spiritual beings.
The Earthly Family Gives Evidence to the Heavenly Family
Some people look for tangible evidence to know about God, but we cannot see God face to face. That is why God teaches us, who are like little children, about heaven through many exemplary systems established on this earth. The Apostle Paul gave an example in the following verse:
Hebrews 8:5 “They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
God commanded Moses to make sure to build the tabernacle according to the reality shown on the mountain. Moses built the tabernacle as a copy and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary from which God pours out blessing upon His people. It is clear that the visible world is the shadow and evidence of the invisible kingdom of heaven, which is the reality. In the same way, the family system on earth testifies to the family system in heaven. To show us this fact, Jesus Himself taught us about the spiritual family.
Matthew 6:8-10 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Hebrews 12:9 “Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live!”
Surely, God is our spiritual Father who gave life to our souls. A father is described as a man who has children. In fact, to call God our heavenly Father must imply He has spiritual children as well. Then, who are the children of God? It is written,
2 Corinthians 6:18 “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters”
In the verse, “you” refers to the believers who know God and follow his decrees. However, for there to be a complete family, there must be a mother as well. Despite this, the majority of Christians do not accept the idea of a female Image of God. Is there not an important member of the Heavenly family system missing?
The Most Important Key in the Heavenly Family is God the Mother
To clarify, all children receive life from their mothers. So, it is not too much to say that a mother’s role is the key to the entire family system. If there are no mothers, then there cannot be any children, and without children, there simply cannot be any fathers. Therefore, it is the mother who holds the family together. Then, why did God give such a significant role to mothers? To show us the existence of God the Mother through creation. Just as we have our physical mothers, there is also our heavenly Mother. In the book of Galatians, Apostle Paul testified about our heavenly Mother.
Galatians 4:26 “…the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.”
Those who believe in God the Mother are recognized as the true children of God. The Apostle Paul who is now in the kingdom of heaven expressed his belief in God the Mother through writing about Her. That is why he wrote, “she is our Mother.” Consequently, when we believe in God the Mother, we can enter Heaven as the children of God Elohim.
The Teachings of the Church of God and Christianity
Nowadays, there are numerous Christian churches who believe in God the Father Jehovah and God the Son Jesus, but there is only one church that believes in God the Mother as recorded in the Bible. It is none other than the World Mission Society Church of God. For this reason, some Christian churches question our belief system, insisting that we are different. Although the teaching seems different to common Christian churches because all of our teachings are recorded in the Bible, the word of God that we keep is undeniable. To say that Heavenly Mother does not exist is denying the Bible. Christians throughout the world should accept the teachings Jesus gave about the heavenly family system. God the Mother exists and is the last mystery given for our salvation.
