Various Denominations Found in the World Today
In the ever-changing world we live in today, many believers find comfort and encouragement in their faith and belief in God. However, one can’t help but notice the various denominations that exist within the Christian faith, each having their own interpretation of the Bible. With only one core truth that was established by God in the Bible, we must ask ourselves, “Which interpretation of the Bible leads us to salvation?”
God Almighty is fully aware of the spiritual state of the world in this age (Luke 18:8). There is a prophecy in the Bible that opens the way for God’s people to know and understand the true way to eternal life in the last days.
Revelation 5: 1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
The vision that Apostle John had on the island of Patmos revealed that there would come a time where the Bible (scroll) would be sealed. The sealing of the Bible described in John’s vision wasn’t a literal sealing of the Bible, but a spiritual one. This was a vision foretelling the future where true knowledge, and the correct interpretation of the Bible would not be found on Earth (Amos 8:11-12).
Apostle John was deeply troubled by this revelation, as he knew that without correct knowledge of the Bible, there could be no hope for salvation. However, he was quickly comforted when in his vision, he saw that someone special would have the ability to open the scroll. The Root of David would be the one to “unseal” the Bible. Therefore, He would provide the correct interpretation of God’s words in the last days and establish the Church where God’s people would have the blessing and privilege to correctly keep God’s laws.
Hosea 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.
Who is the Root of David?
It is important to find out who the Root of David is in our time.
Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
It can be seen in the above verse that the Root of David is Christ Himself. Furthermore, when we consider that Apostle John’s vision not only spoke of things that would happen in the last days, but was also given to him after Jesus Christ ascended back to heaven following His first coming. That means, this Root of David pertains to Jesus’ second coming, which would take place in this current age, the age of the Holy Spirit.
The Sign of the Root of David is the Passover of the New Covenant
Understanding everything above, we need to ask ourselves how to recognize the Root of David when he comes. The Bible testifies there is a way to know Him when the time arises. It will be similar to recognizing our friends in public—there will be a distinguishing sign, whether it’s their mannerisms or speech, that allows us to know it’s them. The Bible teaches that the sign to recognize the Root of David is the everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 55:3 Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.
Let’s look at a few key words in this verse, first the prophet Isaiah says that God will give us an everlasting covenant, however, this covenant is called “my faithful love promised to David.” In that case, if we want to find the promise that allows our souls to live, we must find David. Then, who is David? It is not possible to be the physical king David, who was the second King of Israel. The covenant he lived by and received from God does not last forever, that is the Old Covenant (Heb 8:13). For this reason, we know that it is talking about the spiritual David, that is the Second Coming Christ. Then, what is the everlasting covenant, that only David received from God?
Hebrews 13:20 May the God of Peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep.
In the Bible you can only find two covenants, Old and New Covenant. Between the two of them, which one was established by the blood of Jesus? Jesus stated that the covenant established by His blood is the Passover.
Matthew 26:28 “This is by blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
Also, when we look at this same scene in the Gospel of Luke, it is called the New Covenant.
Luke 22:20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood…”
Now, we can look back from the beginning. It is only the Root of David, the Second Coming Christ, who can teach us the way to salvation. Even so, unless we know how to recognize Him, we will be in great trouble. For this reason, God gave us a sign, the New Covenant Passover. It is God’s faithful love, promised to David, that will allow your soul to live.
Nearly 1,600 years ago, at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D., the Passover of the New Covenant was abolished. Yet, we can teach about it now. What does this mean? It means the Root of David has come and restored the truth of the Passover. According to the prophecy, all of this took place and Christ Ahnsahnghong brought back the truth of life revealing to us that he is the Second Coming Christ, the Root of David spoken about in Revelations chapter 5.
The Only Correct Bible Interpretation is by the Root of David
As shown in the previous verses, no one else besides the Root of David can have proper interpretation of the Bible. Therefore, other people who insist they can explain the truth that leads to salvation cannot be correct. It is because they are not the Root of David. Then, what will happen to the people who are misguided by false interpretations?
2 Peter 3:16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
The Bible clearly states that people who distort and interpret the scriptures according to their own interpretation will be destroyed. Then, what will happen to those who follow those false interpretations? They cannot be led into salvation. They too, will join in the same outcome. Therefore, it is imperative to find the Root of David who has the proper interpretation of the Bible that leads to true salvation.
The only one who has come and restored the Passover in this time is Christ Ahnsahnghong. Therefore, He is undoubtedly the Root of David who can give us the correct interpretation of the Bible. He is the one who established the Church of God that teaches the truths of the Bible that can grant salvation.
